Industry Growth Program Application

We are accepting applications on behalf of Latrobe City Council and with support from the State Government of Victoria.

This is a 12-week program commencing 2 February, 2026 designed to fit with your schedule and support you and your business to thrive into the future.

Applications can be submitted up to 11pm, 28th November, 2025 with successful applicants notified of their acceptance on the program in December 2025.

Program Details

A tailored 12 week business support program combining flexible delivery of business education, coaching and mentoring to help you develop you will develop the most effective strategy to ensure future growth.

This impactful program is being delivered by the Economic Development Australia Awards of Excellence finalists 25eight known for achieving meaningful outcomes for the businesses they serve. With ten years experience in achieving economic results for SMEs they know how to help you succeed. With a unique approach and proven methodology, you'll be supported to identify the opportunities in your market and/or business and then develop a focused plan to capitalise on them whilst increasing your knowledge, skills and confidence to action it effectively.

You will self-pace through online activities, attend in-person and virtual group sessions, meet with your business coach one-to-one and be matched with an Industry Mentor who can provide guidance and insights specific to your business or market situation.

This program is aimed at medium to large businesses in the municipality to develop a future-focused plan to ensure the continued success despite any market changes.

The program is designed specifically for time-poor business owners and is quite flexible in delivery.

However, as a subsidised program, this investment in your business requires your commitment to attending all scheduled sessions and completing the 12 weeks of the program.

By applying for a place, you agree to commit a minimum of 2 hours per week to working on your business with prompts from the program and to attend each of the in-person and online Group Sessions scheduled at:

  • Welcome session (in-person, Latrobe City location TBC) -2 February 2026 11.30am - 2pm

  • Week 3 Session - 17 February, 2026, 12pm - 1pm

  • Week 6 Session - 10 March, 2026, 12pm - 1pm

  • Week 8 Session - 31 March, 2026, 12pm - 1pm

  • Final Session & Presentations (in-person location TBC) - 28 April, 2026 11.30am -2pm.

You get out, what you put in, as the saying goes and so those committed to being supported to grow their business and completing all aspects of the program will benefit the most.
