When we joked with Lisa Milani from Nanocube Health, who won the SXSW Sydney Pitch event thanks to the education, coaching and mentoring provided by 25eight’s Pitch Training Program, that we should travel in her suitcase, we didn’t expect to be doing just that!

The prize for winning at Sydney was the opportunity to present at SXSW Austin, a well-regarded pitch event where serious investors cherry picked their next big things. We couldn’t be more proud of Nanocube Health and will all be routing for them back here in Australia.

But our program was just the beginning! Lisa invited our Co-founder and Chief Mentor, Phil Ore along to ensure that she was able to optimise her presentation for this audience. Phil will be on hand as an advisor and pitch coach ensuring she has the confidence and capability to deliver a winning pitch.

They’ll also be accompanied by a film crew and we’re expecting some great behind-the-scenes stories, so stay tuned on our blog for more to come!

Phil will also be using this amazing experience to meet potential partners for 25eight and 25eight Academy. SXSW is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences organised jointly. It’s a hub of creativity and serendipitous networking that can open the mind alongside opportunities to connect, interact, and learn from participants visiting from across the globe.
