What is the difference between the Next-Level Growth Program and Lead with AI?

The Next-Level Growth Program builds the system your business runs on. Lead with AI takes a business that already has that system and redesigns it to be AI-native, building your own workflows and tools on top. One is the foundation and the other is the multiplier. The Capability Snapshot reads which one your business is ready for.

Both programs build capability rather than doing the work for you. What separates them is what you are building on.

The Next-Level Growth Program is where the system gets designed: your strategy, your positioning, your financial model, your processes and the decisions behind them, written down in a Business Brain you own. Lead with AI assumes that system already exists and makes it intelligent.

Key takeaways

  • Next-Level Growth builds the system. Lead with AI makes an existing system AI-native.
  • Lead with AI is a multiplier rather than an easier or more current entry point. Capability multiplied by AI is a multiplication, and ten times zero is still zero.
  • Most Lead with AI participants arrive from the Next-Level Growth Program, though you can join directly if your foundations are genuinely in place.
  • The AI Layer is a third thing again. It adds the AI layer to the system you already built.
  • You do not have to work out which one you are. The Capability Snapshot reads it and recommends a pathway.

What the Next-Level Growth Program does

It is for owners whose business has proven it works and now depends on them personally to keep working. Most decisions route back to you, growth has started to feel like a ceiling, and effort is the thing holding it together.

Over eight weeks you build a growth strategy and an operating system designed for how you actually want the business to run, along with your Business Brain, a living knowledge system that captures how your business thinks and decides. AI is embedded throughout, so you are already building with it. The point is that you are building the thing AI will later multiply.

You leave with a system, a quarterly implementation plan and a noticeably clearer read on what to do next. Every option includes twelve weeks of CEO Circle Starter membership so the plan gets revisited rather than filed.

What Lead with AI does

It is for owners who have proven AI works in their business and now want it to hold. The experiments run when you drive them and stall when you do not. Nothing connects to anything else, and you could not say with any precision whether it is making a difference.

Over twelve weeks you redesign one real business process with people, AI and connected systems considered together from the start, then build it, test it against acceptance criteria you set, and govern it. You leave with a working workflow or application, a system map, a performance scorecard, human oversight rules and a ninety-day improvement plan.

There are two pathways. Intermediate connects AI to real work using platforms you already have. Advanced adds AI-assisted coding, APIs and custom interfaces. Your Snapshot and AI Opportunity Map recommend one and it is confirmed with you before you start.

The AI Layer is a different thing again

Three names get confused, so it is worth being plain about the third.

The AI Layer adds the AI layer to the system you already built. It is for alumni who hold the artefact set from the Next-Level Growth Program and want it assembled into a working Business Brain, with governance and an opportunity map.

Lead with AI redesigns the business to be AI-native and builds your own tools. It is a build program, not an assembly step.

How to tell which one you are

Read these honestly. They are the same questions the diagnostic asks.

  • Are your decisions written down anywhere but your head? If the answer is no, that is the Next-Level Growth Program. AI has nothing to work from until it is.
  • Could someone else run a core process from what exists today? If not, the process is the work, and the process comes first.
  • Have you already put AI to work somewhere real and seen it hold? If yes, and it stalls the moment you stop driving it, that is Lead with AI.
  • Are you technically comfortable, or would you rather configure than code? That decides Advanced or Intermediate inside Lead with AI, rather than which program.

When the answer is Lead with AI, but not yet

This happens often and it is not a sales manoeuvre. If the foundations are not there, the Snapshot says so and points at the Next-Level Growth Program first. It saves money and a considerable amount of time.

AI amplifies what is already there. Where the foundation is solid it multiplies output. Where the foundation is unclear it multiplies complexity, and you end up moving faster in a direction you had not settled on. That sequencing error is the one thing the whole design exists to prevent.

If you want a shorter step first, an AI Opportunity Mapping Session gives you a read on where you are and what AI could realistically do in your business.

How the Snapshot decides

The Capability Snapshot takes under ten minutes. It looks at your operational foundations and your AI capability, names the constraint, and recommends a pathway. You keep the result whether you enrol or not.

Two kinds of readiness sit underneath it. Is the business ready, which is about foundations and knowledge. And is this particular build ready, which is about usable data, access permissions and a clear owner for the workflow you have in mind. The first is what the Snapshot answers.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to do the Next-Level Growth Program before Lead with AI?

No. Most participants are alumni and the program assumes the foundations someone finishing that program leaves with. If your foundations are already in place you can join directly. Retake the Snapshot and Lead with AI will show as a recommendation if you are ready.

Is Lead with AI the more advanced program?

It builds on more, which is a different thing from being harder or better. An owner who needs the Next-Level Growth Program is not behind. They are at the step where the return is.

Which one is right if I want AI to save me time on admin?

Probably neither on its own. Start with How AI can save time on admin in a small business, then let the Snapshot tell you whether the constraint is the tool or the system underneath it.

Can I do both?

Yes, and that is the common path. The Next-Level Growth Program then Lead with AI, with the AI Layer available to alumni who want the assembly step without the full build program.

What if the Snapshot says something I disagree with?

Tell us. It is a read on the evidence you gave it, not a verdict. The recommendation is confirmed with you before anything starts.
