The AI Layer.

You already built the artefacts: the strategy, the model, the process, the decisions written down. The AI Layer is where you assemble them into a working Business Brain, using your own AI tools, with a map of where AI could genuinely serve your business.

The program has evolved. This layer did not exist when earlier cohorts came through, which is the only reason you have not heard of it before.

Beyond the clarity in messaging and business structure, I'd say the program's helped me shift how I show up as a business owner and leader for my team. It's nudged me out of the day-to-day and into a bigger picture mindset. I've started making decisions less reactively and more intentionally.

James, Trades business

I'd say that identity shift has been quite massive and valuable. I've managed to break a financial ceiling I had for 18 months last month and then again this month, which shows I've stabilised at a new level. I'm more aware of my metrics and I've noticed I'm thinking more like a leader now.

Cam, Creative business

Before starting the 25eight program, I felt scattered, constantly busy but lacking strategic direction. This program helped me shift from reactive to intentional. I now have complete clarity on my brand, my audience, and how to position my offerings for value and sustainability. I've built systems that reflect who I am, not just what I do, and that transformation has given me the confidence to show up as the face of my business with purpose and pride.

Two-minute walkthrough: the artefact set becoming a working Business Brain
A short walkthrough of the two brains, the governance rules and the opportunity map, built from a real artefact set.
Capability × AI = Output

A multiplication, not an addition. Ten plus zero is ten. Ten times zero is zero.

You did the hard part already. The system you built through the program is exactly the capability AI multiplies. Most businesses point AI at chaos and get faster chaos. You get to point it at a system.

Who this is for.

You came through the Next-Level Growth Program, so you hold some or all of the artefacts: strategy, positioning, financial model, process, the decisions you wrote down as you built. The AI Layer is now part of the program, and it is open to alumni as an add-on.

If you have been watching AI and wondering how it serves your business specifically, this is that step, taken deliberately and on your own terms.

What you walk away with.

Everything is built on the system you already own. By the end you hold three things:

For you

  • A strategic partner brain: strategy, positioning and financial model, encoded and ready to think with
  • Your judgement written down, so the thinking behind decisions travels with them
  • A complete artefact set, with anything missing filled in and anything dated refreshed

For your team

  • An operating brain: process, product knowledge and decisions already made, so answers stop routing through you
  • Governance rules that make explicit what staff can see and what the AI is permitted to do
  • One place to ask, instead of interrupting you or guessing

For the business

  • An opportunity map of where AI genuinely serves your business, and where it does not
  • A setup that works with your own tools and security requirements
  • A system that compounds: every artefact you refine makes the brains sharper

How it works.

01

Complete your artefact set

You hold some artefacts from your program work. We map what you have against the full set and you complete the ones you are missing.

02

Assemble the two brains

A strategic partner brain for you: strategy, positioning, financial model, judgement encoded. An operating brain for your team: process, product knowledge, decisions already made.

03

Set the governance

Explicit rules on what staff can see and what the AI is permitted to do. Designed in from the start rather than retrofitted.

04

Map the opportunities

A facilitated session builds your opportunity map: where AI serves your business, and just as usefully, where it does not.

It is tool agnostic. Security requirements and existing setups differ, and the principles hold across tools. One facilitated session per participant, with capacity capped so each session gets proper attention.

The details.

The practical facts, stated plainly. Anything not yet locked in says so.

What

A working Business Brain

Your artefact set assembled into a strategic partner brain for you and an operating brain for your team, with governance rules and an opportunity map.

When

September 2026 intake

Dates are being finalised now. The priority list hears them first.

Format

Guided assembly, one facilitated session

You assemble in your own tools with guidance, then a facilitated session builds your opportunity map. Capacity is capped so each session gets proper attention.

Cost

Being finalised

Price is set with the September intake and shared with the priority list first. Joining the list carries no obligation.

The AI Layer and Lead with AI are different things.

If you are unsure which fits, reply to any email and ask. The honest answer is sometimes neither, yet.

Questions owners ask.

Do I need a particular AI tool?

No. The layer is tool agnostic. Security requirements and existing setups differ between businesses, so the work applies the same principles to whichever tool you already use or choose.

I finished the program a while ago. Is my work still current?

The first step maps the artefacts you hold against the full set, so anything missing gets built and anything dated gets refreshed on the way through. Most alumni find the bulk of their thinking still stands.

What about the privacy and security of my business information?

Governance is a build step rather than an afterthought. You set explicit rules on what staff can see and what the AI is permitted to do before anything goes in, and the principles work within your existing security requirements.

How much time does it take?

Plan for a few focused hours across the intake, including one facilitated session. Most of the work assembles material you already have rather than creating it from scratch.

What does it cost?

The September intake is being finalised, including dates, price and the participant cap. The priority list hears the details first, and there is no obligation attached to being on it.

I am not an alum. Can I join?

The first intake is for alumni, because the layer is built from the artefacts the program produces. The Next-Level Growth Program is where those get built, and the AI Layer is now part of it.

Join the priority list.

Alumni only for the first intake. If you are not an alum, the program is where the artefacts get built.
